The recipient of the "Special Teams Player Of The Year" award is Kicker Nick Rose. No longer on the team, Rose gave the Redskins some serious stability at the kicker position when Dustin Hopkins was placed on injured reserve. Rose made over 90% of hid field goal attempts (10-11) and also made 90% of his extra point attempts (18-20). I strongly believe that Nick Rose is a more talented kicker than Dustin Hopkins, and I also believe Rose has a much higher ceiling when you consider that he's younger. Anyways, Rose is on the Los Angeles Chargers now, so it's pointless to dwell on it now.
