GAME BREAKDOWN

The Redskins are looking to go 3-0 on the west coast, as they will travel to Los Angeles to take on the sweltering hot Chargers, who are riding a three-game win streak behind strong play from Quarterback Philip Rivers. The Chargers have always been a talented team that struggled to get over the hump, but weak divisional play is giving them a chance to sneak into the playoffs. With the season more than likely over, the Redskins will be playing for pride, and some may even be playing for their spot on the roster. I'm hoping that playing spoiler to the Charger's playoff hopes can be some extra added motivation to this game. Philip Rivers is one of the better Quarterbacks in the business, and he isn't afraid to make some aggressive throws, I expect this to be a good showdown.

KEYS TO A VICTORY

1 : CONTAIN THE PASS RUSH - The pass rushing duo of Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram is arguably the best duo in football. They have a total of 20 sacks this season and are continuously harassing the quarterback. Kirk Cousins is the third highest sacked quarterback in the NFL, so this screams mismatch. Trent Williams and Morgan Moses are going to have their hands full against these two, and I expect whoever wins this match up battle to ultimately come out with the victory.

2 : SHUT DOWN KEENAN ALLEN - The Chargers' number one threat on offense is Keenan Allen. He's been plagued with injuries, but he is an elite wide receiver when healthy, and he's proving that this season. Josh Norman will most likely be matched up with the 6 foot 2 receiver, I expect an
intense battle.

SCORE PREDICTION

I have the Redskins winning this game 21-17 behind a strong performance from Kirk Cousins (24-32, 327 Yards, 2 TDs). I think the turnover battle will be the difference in the game, and I expect Philip Rivers to throw an interception, along with a fumble from Keenan Allen.
