NEWS : The Redskins announced they have signed Dustin Hopkins back to the 53 man roster after placing him on Injured Reserve earlier in the season. In a corresponding move, the Redskins waived promising rookie kicker, Nick Rose. I honestly hate this move, Nick Rose is 4 years younger than Hopkins and had the stronger leg. Rose was 10/11 on field goal attempts this year, with the only miss being blocked. I don't know what else you can ask for from a kicker, I expect him to get a job somewhere soon.
